Legendary artist Robert Gordon Mackie (born March 24, 1939) is an American fashion designer and costumier, best known for his dressing of entertainment icons such as Ann-Margret, Carol Burnett, Diahann Carroll, Carol Channing, Cher, Marlene Dietrich, Barbara Eden, Lola Falana, Judy Garland, Mitzi Gaynor, Elton John, Bette Midler, Liza Minnelli, Marie Osmond, Joan Rivers, Diana Ross, RuPaul, Tina Turner, Sylvie Vartan, and Vanna White. Stella Starr's every detail is true to her era - from her rosy lips to her ruby fingers and toes, her eye-catching earrings to her coiffure's forward roll atop a platinum-blonde pageboy. Displaying her support for the men overseaas and evoking statuesque majesty, this Glamour Angel wears an Air Force blue squre-shouldered gown with extravagant dolman sleeves, accented by a trimly belted waist over a silver star-studded skirt. Her starburst halo, wings, and platform high-heeled sandals complement the look. Dressed by premier fashion designer Bob Mackie, Glamour Angel Stella Starr dazzles the world in the best Hollywood tradition. All the original paperwork is included.
Figurine is in pristine condition. The box shows some cosmetic damage. This has been in storage since its purchase in a pet-free smoke-free facility.
