Mesa Boogie Mark IV, Mark V  3 Button Footswitch
This footswitch Operates two functions: Channel Select and one other function - Solo or Eq
Mark IV Rev(A) had a slightly different switching scheme.  This switch can still work but you will need to plug in a shorted out plug into the Channel One jack on the back of the amp.  I can hook up up with the proper plug if you have an early Mark IV.
Boogie (Mark V) Switch Operation
Plug a TRS cable into the left hand jack and use a adapter at the amp to split the TRS cable into two 1/4” Male Jack cables. Plug into Ch 2 & Ch 3 and set the selector knob to Ex. Sw. Then plug a regular TS instrument into the right hand jack and plug the other end into whatever effect you want to control on the back of your V. This will also activate the LEDs. To save your battery always unplug this cable when finished using the footswitch.
The left hand switch will select Ch 1. Anytime the green (CH 1) LED is lit, Ch 1 is active. I leave the LEDs for Ch 2 and Ch 3 active so you will know which channel you are selecting when you stomp on the left hand switch again. This will send control over to the right hand switch. You can use this switch to select between Ch 2 & Ch 3 at any time. For example if you are playing in Ch 2 and switch to Ch 1 and then your next switch is to Ch 3 you can stomp on the right switch while playing in Ch 1 to move control over to Ch 3 so when you stomp on the left switch again you will go instantly to Ch 3 - no toe dancing required. Should Ch 2 & Ch 3 be working backwards, switch the plugs in the back of your amp.
The right hand switch will activate whatever you’ve plugged the cable into on the back of the amp.
