This souvenir program is from the original 1943-45 Broadway production of
Carmen Jones
, by Oscar Hammerstein II. Based on Bizet's opera "Carmen."
The cast  (some replacements)  listed and pictured in the program includes Muriel Smith,  Glenn Bryant, Napoleon Reed, Elton J. Warren, Buck and Bubbles, Levern Hutcherson, Theresa Merritte, Jack Carr, Cozy Cole, Inez Matthews and June Hawkins.
Program measures 8 3/4 x 11 3/4 inches, has 16 pages, and includes photos and bios of the cast members listed above and the creative team plus  three pages of production photos.
Program is in very good condition, with moderate wear/soiling to covers, rubbing to spine, small splits to covers at top and bottom of spine.
