    Vintage 1944 Earl Carroll's Hollywood 6th Year Souvenir Program Illustrated VGUC.
    Very-good used condition with no rips, tears, markings.  There is a light vertical crease on the copy.
    26 pages of this softcover copy are filled with stunning black/white illustrations of the performers, theater interior, stage.
    This is a hard-to-find 1940's piece of US entertainment.  Earl Carroll (1893-1948) was a pioneer in the "supper club" concept.  In 1922 he built the first Earl Carroll Theater in New York.  In 1938, he opened another on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles.  He was a theatrical producer, director, composer and songwriter.
