    Description

    Vintage and extremely unusual Ornate Art Piece featuring Hand Colored Circular Image of the U.S. Capitol Building, Washington, D.C., with surrounding grounds with Dried Flowers (fake?) under Plastic? Dome mounted on a Gold and Clear Ridged Cut Class Diamond Shaped Base.  No manufacturer noted and cannot find another item like it.  From reverse side it looks like it was adhered to something larger which likely was the piece for hanging it on wall.  Measures 12.25" x 12.25" x 1.5"H.  The Dome is in good shape the border looks like cloth material.  The glass gold has worn away in several areas but no chips or cracks.  A lot of work went into this item.  Very hard to photograph with glare off dome.  If you need more pics send us a msg.  Guessing it was made 1930's or 40's?  A must have for any U.S. Capitol collector.  We ship fast and FREE with care.  Contact us any questions we try our best.
